SubliCrylic is a revolutionary new product from AGS Power Digital that brings full colour imaging potential of acrylic to the sublimation decorator, without the need for expensive investment in hardware. SubliCrylic can be decorated easily by using a standard heat press and transfer paper with sublimation inks. Sublicrylic is available in a range of high quality crystal clear awards suitable for anything from athletics awards to high end corporate recognition systems.
Most acrylic "solutions" require expensive laser systems, or use a cheap paper-backed solution that will not present your image in its full colour and depth. SubliCrylic removes the need for these. <more> |

| Mimaki UJV-160 - Media and ink upgrades |
| Mimaki has announced the enhanced version of its UV LED curing hybrid printer UJV-160 for roll and rigid substrates.
The upgraded machine can accommodate rigid media of up to 12 kg (until recently 2 kg) enabling printing on substrates such as acrylic and aluminum compound boards used by the signage and display industry.
The UJV-160 will continue to use the flexible ink developed with 3M and will add a hard UV ink with white. Inks will come in reusable Eco-packaging with 600 ml content saving up to 30 to 40% on ink costs. The upgraded printer is due mid April and the white ink June 2009. |

| Mimaki announces the JV33BS with lowest cost inks |
Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. has released the JV33BS with the most affordable ink of any printer in its class. The BS2 ink is a Mimaki product and includes full factory warranty and support.
The machine has two configurations for ink delivery. Utilising the MBIS bulk ink system with 2 litre bladders the savings are save up to 60% over the competitors.
The printer is also available with reusable cartridges that take a 600 ml bladder of ink.
